Privacy Policy

Health-Sage is developed by AlpSoft LLC. We designed Health-Sage to help you organize personal health information while keeping you in control of what you enter, connect, export, and share.

In short: the current version of Health-Sage does not require an account, does not sell your health information, does not use health information for advertising, and only accesses Apple Health data when you grant permission.

1. Information you enter in Health-Sage

Health-Sage may allow you to enter information such as your profile details, health goals, known conditions, medications, allergies, family history, diet preferences, activity level, weight, blood pressure, hydration, food logs, and daily check-ins.

In the current release, this app-entered information is stored locally on your device unless you intentionally export, back up, or share it using a feature you choose to use.

2. Apple Health and HealthKit

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Health-Sage may request permission to read supported HealthKit information, such as steps, sleep, and active energy. Apple Health access is optional and controlled through Apple's permission system.

  • Health-Sage only accesses HealthKit data types for which you grant permission.
  • You can change Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings or the Health app.
  • HealthKit information is used to provide health-tracking features inside Health-Sage.
  • HealthKit information is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

3. Doctor Reports, exports, and sharing

Health-Sage can generate a Doctor Report or other export containing information you select. Creating or sharing a report is initiated by you. Before sharing, you should review the information and choose the intended recipient.

Once information is exported from Health-Sage or shared with another person, app, service, or healthcare provider, that recipient's privacy and security practices may apply.

4. Accounts and cloud services

The current version of Health-Sage does not require an account or login for core functionality. If future versions introduce optional cloud features, account-based services, or synchronization, this policy will be updated to explain what information is collected, why it is needed, and how it is protected.

5. Advertising and sale of data

Health-Sage is ad-free. AlpSoft LLC does not sell your personal health information and does not use health information obtained through Health-Sage or HealthKit for advertising, marketing profiles, or targeted advertising.

6. Analytics and diagnostics

Apple or the operating system may provide crash or diagnostic information according to the privacy choices and settings on your device. Health-Sage does not intentionally include your health records in support communications. If you contact us for support, please avoid sending sensitive medical information unless it is necessary to resolve your request.

7. Data retention and deletion

Because the current release primarily stores app data locally, you control much of its retention through the app and your device. Removing records within the app, resetting app data where available, or deleting the app may remove locally stored Health-Sage data. Information that you previously exported or shared is not automatically deleted from recipients or other applications.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the design of the app to protect information under our control. No system can guarantee absolute security. We recommend protecting your iPhone or iPad with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID and keeping your operating system up to date.

9. Medical disclaimer

Health-Sage is intended for personal health tracking, organization, and informational use. It is not a regulated medical device, does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions or concerns.

10. Children

Health-Sage is not specifically directed to children. Parents or guardians should supervise use by minors as appropriate. We do not knowingly design the service to collect children's health information for advertising or marketing purposes.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Health-Sage evolves or as legal and platform requirements change. The latest version will be posted at this URL with the revision date shown above.
